It is important to provide a healthy environment for young children and traditional cleaning chemicals can contain hazardous ingredients that can be inhaled or ingested by children. Our cleaning products are Green Seal certified to assure their safety to children, staff and surfaces. We use procedures that insure a clean and healthy facility.
HEITS offers two MAINTENANCE service levels to meet your cleaning and maintenance needs; PLATINUM Maintenance Service and GOLD Maintenance Service.
Our PLATINUM Service level provides a more in-depth service for the more discriminating maintenance needs.
Our GOLD Service includes many "extras" as standard elements, which other contractors will charge additional fees for or require special scheduling.

TARGET AREA: COMMON PLAY AREAS
The common areas of a day care facility bear the brunt of young children playing and learning. Some facilities have rubber flooring in these common areas, which require special attention when cleaning. Little fingers can leave big fingerprint and handprint smudges and surfaces that are frequently touched need to be treated for reducing the spread of flu and illness.
We pay special attention to areas that can escape the attention of other cleaning contractors, keeping in mind the small visitors in a day care facility.
GENERAL CLEAN - From wiping with color-coded microfiber rags to eliminate cross contamination to the use of environmentally preferred cleaning products, we keep in mind the environmental health of your facility. Our 13-point checklist assures there is no crevice or crack left untreated, including the sanitizing of table-tops, common surfaces and water coolers.
FLOOR CLEAN - Our floor cleaning assures hard surfaces are left residue-free, reducing slip potential and assuring a streak-free shine. Carpet care uses allergy-reducing filters and environmentally preferred odor control. Rubber floors are cleaned with neutral cleaners to preserve their integrity.

TARGET AREA: TOYS and PLAY EQUIPMENT
It is crucial that toys are cleaned properly in a day care setting. We do not use bleach as a sanitizer, as we feel there are safer, environmentally preferred options. Toys are cleaned and sanitized daily, as are tables, chairs, cubbies and play kitchen surfaces. Each week, shelves are wiped out and sanitized.

TARGET AREA: RESTROOMS
Restrooms are always a particular cleaning challenge, but even more so in day care centers where children are learning toilet skills. We use the latest cleaning and odor-control methods to keep restrooms clean and smelling fresh.
GENERAL CLEAN - We use color-coded microfiber rags to eliminate cross contamination and capture dirt, grime, and micro-organisms. Surfaces are cleaned with a one-step cleaner-disinfectant.
FLOOR CLEAN - Restroom flooring is treated with a sanitizing cleaner to eliminate odor-producing bacteria. Floor surfaces are left residue-free, reducing slip potential and assuring a streak-free shine.
STALL CLEAN - Special attention is paid to cleaning tile walls and toilet partitions with a sanitiizng cleaner. These are areas that can be inadvertently splashed with a flushing toilet and can then harbor bacteria and create odors. Sinks, toilets and urinals are disinfected.

ODOR CONTROL - We use a bio-enzymatic urine digester that is a bio-active formulation which breaks down and digests organic stains and odors. Green Seal certified OXY-Force® All-Purpose Cleaner is hydrogen peroxide-based and naturally cleans and deodorizes surfaces.
PAPER PRODUCTS - We re-stock paper and soap products and monitor the usage, alerting you to the need for re-ordering.
HAND SOAP - The number one factor in decreasing the spread of illness is hand washing. We make sure you never run out of hand soap.
RESTROOM INTENSIVE - Includes deep cleaning and scrubbing to remove dirt and odors. Grout stain remover brings back the original color and brightness of grout. Special sealer protects surface from staining and build-up of odors.

TARGET AREA: KITCHEN
Whether the kitchen is used only by staff for breaks or functions as a preparation area for daily snacks, HEITS has the program for maximum care. We clean and disinfect counters, tables, chairs and sinks, as well as cleaning the floor with a germicidal cleaner. Sinks and bright work sparkle with regular cleaning and polishing. Walls behind trash receptacles are regularly cleaned and disinfected.

TARGET AREA: SLEEPING / NAPPING AREAS
Sleeping mats are cleaned with a one-step cleaner and disinfectant on a regular basis. Special cleaners are used on cribs to clean and sanitize.
